The list

Canadian betting apps, ranked

Every operator below ships an app you can install today. That is the entry requirement, not a bonus point.

Some links in this table pay us a commission if you open an account. It changes nothing about the order, which is computed from the figures shown.

How the order is decided

Three numbers carry most of the weight: store rating, install size in MB, and taps from home screen to a submitted withdrawal. Everything else adjusts a position by a place or two, never by ten.

Taps to withdraw is the tiebreaker. Two apps sitting at 4.5 stars with similar packages get separated by the cashier. Three taps beats six, every time, because those extra screens exist to make leaving feel like effort.

Install size is scored against what the app does. A 180MB build with live dealer tables, in play betting and a full casino lobby is reasonable. A 180MB build wrapping 40 slots is bloat, and it gets marked as bloat.

What the columns mean

Rating is the current store average, with the ratings count next to it. A 4.7 from 320 reviews and a 4.7 from 41,000 reviews are not the same claim, so both numbers appear.

Size is the download listed on the store page for a mid range Android device, plus the iOS figure where the two differ by more than 15MB. Installed size after first launch is usually 1.5 to 2 times larger once the game bundles land.

Taps is counted from the app's home screen, on a verified account with a payout method already saved, to the button that submits the request. Identity checks and first time verification are excluded, because that is a one off, and noted separately in each teardown.

When a rank moves

A version bump alone does not move anything. Ratings are only re-read once a release has been live for 14 days, which is roughly how long it takes for review data across player accounts to reflect a broken build.

A withdrawal flow change moves a rank immediately. If an operator cuts a step or adds one, it shows up in the list that day and in the daily feed.

A rank also drops when an app loses a payout method, when push notifications start failing at scale, or when the published terms change a payout window without notice.

Who is missing, and why

Operators without a native app are not ranked. No exceptions, no partial credit for a fast mobile site. See how we rate for the reasoning and the funding disclosure that goes with it.

Apps that have been pulled from either store, or that only distribute through a sideloaded file, are excluded until they return to a public listing.

Anything brand new sits in a holding area for 30 days. A launch week rating is a marketing number, and a crash pattern needs a few releases before it says anything useful. Start with a worked example at this teardown.
